We invite you to attend our information session webinar series to learn more about the program.
This webinar, the third in a series of three, is an opportunity to learn about the 2021 Grant Program goals, including eligibility requirements and the application process. We will highlight the types of projects we'll support through the Decarbonization & Renewable Energy focus area, provide example project case studies for inspiration, identify potential project collaborators or partners, and ask and answer your questions.
This webinar is open to community representatives and potential applicants from charitable, nonprofit, and public sectors as well as potential private sector partners.
Alberta Ecotrust is a founding member of the Low Carbon Cities Canada (LC3) network. LC3 is implemented in partnership among seven local centres across Canada and the Federation of Canadian Municipalities. Funded by the Government of Canada, the Alberta Ecotrust Climate Innovation Fund is part of a national investment in municipal climate action to accelerate urban climate solutions, and to meet Canada’s 2030 and 2050 carbon reduction targets. The Climate Innovation Fund provides programming in Calgary and Edmonton, taking on a nimble, accelerator role, complementing and advancing the leadership work undertaken by the municipalities.
